The blog provides community for discussing the Workshop on the Impact of Pen-based Technology on Education (WIPTE). As well, we can discuss items of interest relatd to TabletPCs, the value-add of pen-based technology to the learning, and issues related to assessment of learning and pen-bsed technology.

Panel question: How can Microsoft as a big industry help enable you as a community help infuse the tablet?
Microsoft should work with faculty & education evaluators on campus, in devising tailored evaluation methods.
The biggest barrier to getting Tablets on campus is lack of confidence. Given evaluation tools that help us admins quickly prove its metal to the U's supporters - this will be most helpful.
